The Senne, that oft-forgotten river flowing beneath the streets Brussels. Everyone has heard of it, but few people have seen it up close. So why not make it accessible to everyone in order to take a trip down this delightful, bucolic river? Tous en Senne (Everyone on the Senne) De Zenne op !!
With your active support, we can build pontoons in Lot and in Drogenbos that are accessible to everyone.
The Senne has a bad reputation! Polluted, foul-smelling, unappealing... This is false, absolutely false!
On the western edge of Brussels, the Senne flows peacefully in an unexpected natural setting. It is bordered by private land, so nobody can go for a walk there without permission, meaning the only way to discover this pretty landscape is to do so while sailing on the Senne. Watercourses like the Senne are considered public thoroughfares, like our narrow country roads.
The banks of the Senne are accessible in the villages of Lot and Drogenbos, and it is in these locations that we want to secure two pontoons so as to enable everyone to discover the Senne in a kayak, a canoe or on a SUP (Stand up Paddle board).
Our project brings numerous advantages:
In order for this dream of a Senne that is accessible for sailing to become a reality, and to thank all of those who actively and financially support this project, we are offering a few rewards:
